Lucio Fontana: Walking the Space: Spatial Environments, 1948 – 1968, Nicolas Party: Sottobosco, and August Sander: New Women, New Men, and New Identities at Hauser & Wirth from Sat, Feb 15, 2020 to Fri, May 29, 2020 ( Exhibition )

Lucio Fontana's presentation of "Ambienti spazial" (Spatial Environments) is curated by Luca Massimo Barbero in collaboration with the Fondazione Lucio Fontana, Milan.

Swiss artist Nicolas Party presents new paintings, sculptures, site-specific murals, and an architectural installation that conjures the forest floor in a pastel universe.

Hauser & Wirth and the Los Angeles Philharmonic present August Sander: New Women, New Men, and New Identities, an exhibition that brings together portraits by German photographer August Sander (1876–1964) with original examples of the first gay and lesbian journals ever published, curated by Stephanie Barron, senior curator and head of modern art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and independent curator Nana Bahlmann.

The exhibition is a project of Weimar Variations, a collection of public events related to the LA Phil’s month-long, citywide festival Weimar Republic: Germany 1918 – 1933.
